By "Unexplained" standards, this 18-year-old building is practically brand new. Dozens of reports of paranormal phenomenon have caught the attention of "Unexplained" investigators and we decided to check it out for ourselves. These strange happenings started when the building was still under construction. Owner Butch McCall was showing a friend around. "He gets this funny sound in his voice and he's like, 'Man, this place is haunted.' I'm like, 'Well, it can't be haunted! It's not built yet!'"

We began to roam the grounds, checking out the place. Myrtles is outstanding and breathtaking in beauty and mystery. Without any knowledge of the hauntings of this location, one is overwhelmed with the amount of Spanish moss hanging from the many ancient trees on the grounds. 3 - 4pm - Darren takes a nap in one of the more "active" rooms - the Green Room. This one has been known for visitations from Chloe. He had set up a Hi-8 to record anything. Shortly after falling asleep, he says, "Something touched my hand, and I jerked it back and woke up." This is evident on the tape. He also set a voice-activated recorder in an adjacent room. On playback, the tape contained some odd "ticking" noise. Nothing was in the room to produce that sound.
